The MIDIGEL PROTEIN Kit allows differentiation of 6 fractions : Albumin, alpha1, alpha2, beta1, beta2 and gamma globulins. The percentage values obtained for each of the 5 or 6 protein fractions give valuable information for the diagnosis of several pathologies : inflammation, nephrotic syndrome, hypogammaglobulinaemia, hepatic syndrome, gastroenteropathy. The high resolution of MIDIGEL allows monoclonal proteins to be detected in the gamma region in the form of fine coloured bands.
